The Men’s Shed is like a band of brothers. When I first walked in the door, I felt so welcome – you walked in and they welcomed you with open arms.

I joined the Men’s Shed to learn and relearn practical skills, but also there is a social side. Meeting new people, of a similar sort of age group – I retired in 2017 and joined the Men’s Shed in 2019 – the Shed is a large part of my social life.
